COUGAR original painting from the FIRST SNOW series

Signed original painting “First Snow: Cougar” by Kellie Oliphant-Burns. Stretched wrap canvas comes ready to hang. Size: 10”round x 5/8” I completed this “First Snow” series on the winter solstice. I dedicated the pieces to my Dad and he saw them all completed and hanging in my studio. With his passing at the end of January, I held on to them until now and am feeling it is time to find their homes as we enter the season of “last snows”. Harnessing the tenacity of these incredible creatures….their ability to navigate and even thrive in harsh conditions is an inspiration to me. Winter can feel so cold and desolate but reminding myself of these triumphant animals allows me to escape into their mindsets.
